There are 3 steam boilers with a capacity of 25T each. One of the exhaust fans is experiencing frequent vibrations, and the amplitude of these vibrations is so high that the fan cannot function properly. Replacing the impeller helps for a few days; at most, a week. The replaced impeller needs to be balanced dynamically, otherwise it will still vibrate even after installation. The replaced impellers are covered with scale, which can be cleaned off, but even after cleaning they still require dynamic balancing. Using larger impellers allows them to last longer. The bearings in the bearing housings are starting to wear out – after adding copper plating, they only last for two days before needing further plating. Since there are no bearing housings available, I would like to know what’s causing all these problems ? ? ? ?
Scaling on the impeller surface causes dynamic imbalance!
The bearing running out of its outer diameter occurs when there is a clearance fit between the outer ring of the bearing and the bearing seat hole; it should instead be an interference fit of 0.01–0.02 mm
At first glance, it appears that the dynamic balance is compromised due to the medium adhering to the impeller. The induced draft fan transports high-temperature air containing dust; it is recommended to 1. use wear-resistant impellers ; 2. The fan should be designed for high temperatures; 3. Check the foundation and alignment ; 4. Add an inlet filter.
When the fan becomes fouled, the impeller in its balanced state becomes unbalanced, which requires the impeller to be rebalanced. Can a handheld balancing machine be used to rebalance it?
