Our company has a 3M16 compressor; due to a faulty outlet valve in the second stage, overpressure occurs in that stage (with no issues in the other stages). Please help analyze the cause. Thank you!
If it breaks, just replace it – it’s a very common issue. Pieces of piston rings and other mechanical impurities that get stuck against the gasket, as well as fragments resulting from the breakage of the gasket itself, can all cause this kind of problem. It’s not surprising. It is important to note here that the judgment must be accurate; stop immediately and replace it to reduce maintenance time. There’s nothing else, I guess. . . . It’s completely normal. If the pressure is not very high and continuous operation without accidents is desired, it is better to choose a turbine compressor. Piston compressors require regular maintenance and have a high failure rate.
The exhaust valve in stage 2 is damaged, resulting in overpressure in stage 2~~~~~~~~~~~ Stage 3 is connected to stage 2, so overpressure occurs as well~~ (No issues with the other stages)~~~~ The other inlet and exhaust valves are functioning properly~~~ Additional note: The temperature in stage 2 must be very high at this time~~~ The temperature in stage 1 also rises rapidly.....
The outlet is protected by a safety valve. Is the medium dirty?
The second-stage outlet valve disc is damaged, resulting in overpressure in the second stage; this indicates that there may be issues with the third-stage gas valve or the load control valve, and further investigation is required
The three-stage inlet valve is good; there will be no pressure crossover
