Check whether there are any leaks in the air valves at each inlet or outlet of the compressor; learn how to identify leaks using the pressure gauges on site, and find out how to determine if there are leaks from the control room!
It is mainly determined by temperature and pressure; on-site, one can check by touching the valve – if its temperature rises, it indicates that there is a leak. A leak in the intake valve will cause an increase in both the intake pressure and temperature, while a leak in the exhaust valve will lead to an increase in both the intake pressure and the exhaust temperature.
