How should I understand the centrifugal pressure increase, expansion, and speed reduction in air compressors?
A diffuser converts the kinetic energy of gas molecules into potential energy (i.e., an increase in pressure)
The gas enters the diffuser, where the volume increases; kinetic energy is converted into potential energy, the molecules aggregate, the volume grows further, the pressure drops, and the flow velocity slows down
