I would like to ask the experts: what are the horizontal critical speed and the vertical critical speed?
During acceleration, the vibration amplitudes in the two directions do not reach their maximum at the same rotational speed
Sir, I see that for one of the small engines, the first critical speed is 1300, while the vertical speed is 2300 rpm – why is there such a big difference? So if my eddy current sensor is installed at 45 degrees positive and 45 degrees negative, what critical speed value will be obtained from the Bode plot? Also, if the equipment doesn’t specify otherwise, does the critical speed indicated on the label refer to a horizontal or vertical orientation? Thank you
