The non-condensable gas outlet of the steam seal extractor does not discharge steam outside

The MAN turbines are equipped with steam seal extractors from Hangzhou Steam Machinery. Recently, it was observed that no steam was being discharged from the non-condensable gas outlet of these extractors; instead, air was being drawn in. What could be the possible reasons for this? If the steam seal extractor is shut down and the nozzle and steam inlet filter are serviced, will it have an impact on the unit itself?
If the filter is clogged, the valve in front of the filter should be closed, and the filter element can be removed for cleaning.
It seems like the pipeline is used for circulating water heat exchange; it should be condensate heat exchange, right?
Inspect the nozzle, clean it, or replace it
Shut down the unit to service the nozzle, or replace it without affecting the machine
The concern is that steam might mix with the lubricating oil, affecting its quality and being detrimental to the unit; however, there’s no problem in the short term
I think the same way; I’m going to give it a try, but I’m worried that the steam valve might not be able to be closed tightly
The key question is whether it is possible to shut down the steam seal extractor for an extended period of time, and what impact this will have on the unit
