What is the lowest possible NPSH required for a centrifugal pump?

What is the lowest NPSH that can be achieved for a standard centrifugal pump? Previously, it was always above 1.5 meters, but recently it has been found that for many ordinary centrifugal pumps, the net positive suction head required must be below 1 meter, not the case for bucket pumps. Is it possible that the manufacturer is providing false data? Are there any standards or guidelines that specify what the minimum net positive suction head required is? Thank you
The type of pump, its rotational speed, and flow rate all affect the net positive suction head; this is why for circulation pumps that require a lower net positive suction head, low-speed double-suction centrifugal pumps are typically used, and the use of an inducer also helps to reduce it. You can look for a good pump manufacturer and compare it with the data samples from the supplier you were told about. Compare them; if the difference is large, consult the manufacturer.
