The variable-frequency motor of the centrifugal fan is operating at full load; the motor vibration is 1.5 mm/s, while the fan’s vibration is 8 mm/s. There is a surging sound on the outlet side of the fan. Teachers with expertise in this area could please help analyze the situation.
Check the coaxiality of the motor and the fan again. Also, check to make sure the anchor bolts are tight.
Judging from the speed value, it’s not high, so it should be running normally.
The vibration level of the motor is also slightly high, but since the fan is experiencing surging, it can be inferred that the increased overall vibration is caused by the abnormal operation of the fan. Two types of inspections can be carried out: 1. Check whether all the connection bolts of the fan are tightened, and whether the coupling alignment is done in accordance with standards ; 2. Is the fan operating within its rated conditions, and are the inlet and outlet dampers open as required by the regulations?
If it’s known to be in surge mode, then adjust the fan flow rate or motor speed
If the coaxiality is poor, the vibration at both the motor drive end and the fan drive end should be high. The rated air volume is 23,000; vibration increases only when the air volume reaches 20,000
