The 25MW backpressure turbine units produced by Harbin Turbine Factory are designed to use 32# turbine oil. During operation, when the temperature exceeds 35°C, the vibration of the units increases significantly; when the temperature remains below 35°C, the vibration is more stable. Would the situation be even better if the temperature is kept below 30°C?； Or can it be replaced with 46# turbine oil?
What is the oil return temperature? Has the oil quality been tested?
The lubricating oil system should operate at 40–42°C; it must not be lower than 38°C, otherwise the oil film will not form properly. Carefully check if there is anything wrong with your temperature measurement point
