How does the minimum flow control valve of the pump function?

It is rare for the minimum flow line of a pump to be drawn after the flow rate at the pump’s outlet; therefore, the key is to design an appropriate diameter for the return line. Under such conditions, even if there are control valves, they are manually operated indoors. On compressors, it is quite common to install a return line after a flow meter; a minimum allowable flow rate is set, and the control valve adjusts automatically accordingly.
Under normal circumstances, the minimum flow rate should be maintained, with no operation! To prevent accidents caused by a sudden shutdown of the outlet flow, the minimum flow rate is generally set to always be on!
