For the BLY cycloidal gear vertical reducer, oil levels in the sight glass rise and fall as it operates; it seems as though there is air in the reducer, and there is also an exhaust pipe on the oil filling cap. What could be the cause of this?
It’s normal; as the inner flower disc rotates, the oil moves along with it. Just use an appropriate amount of oil
1. Too much oil was added. 2. The excessive load on the reducer caused the oil temperature to rise too high. 3. Reducer failure
