There is abnormal noise in the crankcase of the Shanghai Dalong six-row reciprocating compressor, and the vibration level is high. What could be the cause? I hope experts can give some advice! ! !
Check the clearance between the crosshead small end bearing and the pin
There are too many reasons; they need to be checked step by step. Including crosshead, small bearing shells, large bearing shells, etc
1. Determine whether the vibration is greater on the X-axis or the Y-axis? 2. Determine whether it is a knocking sound or a rubbing sound. 3. Identify the pattern of the vibration or abnormal noise. 4. If it cannot be determined, shut down the machine and check whether any components are damaged
There’s no issue with the crosshead clearance; I checked the small end twice and found nothing wrong
The crosshead clearance is fine; next, check: 1. Whether the piston rod nut is loose 2. Whether the nut that holds the piston in the cylinder is loose 3. Whether the air valve is properly tightened 4. The clearance of the big-end bearing 5. Whether the operating conditions match the design specifications and whether there is any overload 6. Whether the foundation is level and meets the requirements
