This is the dry gas seal for our company’s centrifugal compressors. I really can’t figure out how the flow of air for this main seal works. Thank you
There’s also this flushing gas; I compared it with others and feel that it’s different
The flushing gas enters the machine’s chamber directly, while the main sealing gas is discharged through a flow meter either to a flare or into the atmosphere
That’s right. May I ask if the main sealing gas needs to enter the two dry gas seals on the left and right sides, and then be discharged through the stationary and rotating rings?

This is amazing! The pre-sealing gas enters the unit; a small amount of the main sealing gas goes into the unit, while the rest together with the isolation gas is discharged to the atmosphere. The pressure of the main sealing gas is higher than that of the pre-sealing gas, which in turn is higher than the pressure in the balance tube.
