Question: Our company’s steam turbine has a rated power of 50 megawatts; it is of the high-temperature, high-pressure type with a condensing cycle. The control system currently in use is a \"low-pressure turbine oil electric control\" system. Would it be easy to switch to a \"high-pressure fire-resistant oil electric control\" system? Is it also necessary to make modifications to the turbine’s main steam valve, control valves, oil actuators, etc., as well?

To be clear, this should be changeable; for the units produced by Hangzhou Motor, high temperature and high pressure conditions generally require the use of high-pressure fire-resistant fuel. If there are changes, the control valve should not need to be replaced (the specific details depend on the on-site setup). What definitely needs to be changed are: 1. Replacing the hydraulic actuator, as the pressure required for flame resistance is higher (around 11 MPa for high-pressure oil) ; 2. Add a fuel tank for fire-resistant oil ; 3. Add electrical components such as servo valves used in conjunction with the fire-resistant fuel system, mechanical components such as high and low pressure accumulators, and high-pressure oil pipes for street lights. The high-pressure fire-resistant fuel system is relatively stable. It can be modified and upgraded. As for whether renovation is necessary, it depends on the actual operating conditions at present. If the current system is working fine, but issues such as fluctuations in speed are difficult to address, then renovation could be considered.
