The inlet pressure is 6 kilograms, the balance pipe pressure is 9 kilograms, and the seal water pressure is around 14 kilograms. But it can’t be flushed in all the time, and the seal burns easily. There is also a pressure gauge on the thrust bearing; it’s not clear what its purpose is. In the two pumps that are working properly, one of the thrust bearings has almost no pressure, while the other two have pressures of 0.2 and 0.05 kilograms respectively. In the pump where the seal flushing water cannot get in, the pressure is 1 kilogram. I don’t know if there’s any connection between the two.

1. First, check whether the water supply and return water for the machine seal flushing are unobstructed. 2. Check whether the pressure difference between the feed water and return water is too low; if the pressure in the return water line is high, the flushing water for the mechanical seal will not flow properly. 3 If there are no issues with the water pipeline, remove the machine seal to check whether the flushing hole of the machine seal is blocked
First, check whether the machine seal cooling system is unobstructed; generally, that’s all that needs to be done. For the cooling water of mechanical seals, chemical plants use recycled water in order to save costs; this water is quite dirty. When the temperature of the medium in the pump is high, scaling can occur, blocking the cooling channels and leading to the failure of the mechanical seals

What is being referred to is the seal flushing water, which is pumped into the pump; there is no return pipeline. Have you ever seen 14-kilogram circulating water?
