If the stroke of the valve flap is 2 mm, and the unloader needs to push the valve open so that it does not perform any work, then by how much does the valve flap need to be pushed open?
Anything over 2 MM will do; we generally consider the relationship among the stroke of the valve disc, the clearance between the push rod and the fork, and the total stroke of the unloading valve.
