How to clean carbon buildup inside the reducer of a reaction kettle?

Our factory has forty to fifty reaction kettles, and the reducers in them have been in use for over a decade; we only change the oil in them and have never cleaned them. Recently one of them broke down, and upon disassembly we found a lot of carbon buildup. Is there any way to clean the internal carbon buildup without having to disassemble the reducer?
What brand of reducer is it? Don’t you have a routine maintenance plan?
