Seeking help with issues regarding the unloading valve of a reciprocating compressor

The unloading valve has three ports in total; the top one is the inlet for instrument air. What about the middle and bottom ports? And by what principle is the instrument air that enters discharged from the lower outlet?
At the bottom, there is no air discharge; the instrument air that enters comes from the solenoid valve located in front of the distributor. If the top part is the air inlet, then air is discharged there. The middle part likely has connected pipelines as well and serves as a vent to prevent the unloader from failing to function due to pressure. The pipelines at the bottom are probably for releasing air, which is either vented to the atmosphere or sent to a flare system!
There is an air inlet, one that is used for exhaust when the air bag is inflated and reduces the volume of the spring chamber, and another that is a leakage hole for the packing of the relief valve; if the packing leaks, the medium will escape. Generally, these holes are connected by pipes to allow for centralized collection and discharge to the flare
