Regarding the requests for pumps here, the department that has a need provides us with the required head and flow rate; sometimes we use these figures to find a suitable pump from online sources or information provided by other pump manufacturers, and then proceed with the purchase. I’m not sure how you all place orders; does it require providing a data sheet for the pump to the purchasing department, who then contacts several manufacturers to get pump models that meet the requirements for reference?

Then, the equipment team preliminarily selects the pump type, materials, sealing system, lubrication system, etc., based on the requirements in the process data sheet, to create a mechanical data sheet. The mechanical data sheet also includes some standards regarding the requirements for the equipment. When placing an order, in addition to attaching the mechanical data sheet, a technical agreement should also be used to specify detailed technical requirements and regulations regarding the equipment itself and its scope, in order to avoid subsequent technical disputes. Ultimately, attachments such as the technical agreement and mechanical data sheet will serve as valid legal annexes to the purchase contract.
First, do you want to buy the ideal product, or just one that will work? If you want the most ideal option, inform the manufacturer of the system’s specifications so that they can design it; this approach is both professional and efficient. If you buy a functional pump, just purchase it on Taobao. But in terms of energy efficiency and practicality, it’s far inferior.
