The vertical vibration of the Roots blower is around 8.0 mm/s under load, while the axial vibration is around 12.5 mm/s; the designed outlet pressure of the equipment is 100 kPa. There are no abnormalities with the blower’s synchronous gears or bearings. The only issue identified is a vibration of 159 mm/s in the inlet silencer. I would appreciate it if you could tell me what might be causing this and how it can be resolved. Thank you!
It depends on whether it is an original issue or one that has arisen later on. Address all issues that can be resolved, such as tightening of foundation bolts, level measurement, dynamic balance calibration, and the impact of pipes, etc.

During the no-load test, the vibration parameters remained around 8.0; however, they exceeded the limit during the load test.
For new projects, there are more issues to consider here. Some are related to the manufacturing process, while others pertain to the quality of installation. It’s hard to explain clearly without going to the site for an on-site inspection. Problems that arise the day after are relatively easier to handle.

There are flexible connections and compensators at the outlet, and flexible connections as well at the inlet.
Coupling drive or belt drive?
Take a photo of the entire fan unit and a photo of its nameplate
