Compressors of good quality are produced by Jintongling and Jiangshan Shipbuilding; Dewei Turbines are slightly smaller in size. For MVR systems, brands such as Yixing Grant, Shennong, and Hecheng are available. If there is sufficient funding, imported options should be given priority. When chlorine ions are present, titanium alloy is the preferred material. For the concentration of ammonium chloride, stainless steel impellers fail after just half a year, while volute components also fail after a year; however, those made of titanium alloy show no signs of corrosion even after three years. Compressors themselves may not break down easily, but once they do, the repair costs are extremely high – one impeller can cost up to 1.8 million yuan.
