The function of the high-position oil tank is to supply sufficient oil to the bearing shells in case of a power outage or damage to the oil pump
After the oil pump is started, the oil passes through the cooler, filter, and pressure relief valve before reaching the lubrication points. The other path of the oil supply enters the high-level oil tank via a orifice plate; when the machine stops, the oil stored in the high-level oil tank flows to the lubrication points under the force of gravity through a check valve.
