Since it is a mixture of salt solution and organic substances, it is difficult to determine its density. If the provided density differs significantly from the actual value, what problems might arise once the pump is purchased?

If the provided density is 1 and the actual density is lower than 1, there is no problem using it; if the actual density is higher than 1, the pump will trip due to excessive current under the same flow rate
When purchasing a pump, it is necessary to provide selection parameters, which include information on the composition and density of the medium, as well as temperature, inlet pressure, flow rate, and required head. Otherwise, the pump selected may not meet the operational requirements, leading to cavitation or exceeding the motor’s rated current
If the process engineer cannot provide the data and the equipment technician approves it, then the purchase is made; if the item turns out to not work well, the equipment technician quits.
