The structure of the compressor air valve is a bit confusing; it has a valve seat, a valve disc, springs, etc., and intake and exhaust are controlled by the closing of the valve seat and valve disc. I see gas channels on the valve seat, and there are also gas channels on the valve disc; the channels between them seem to be connected. How is it possible to open and close it? I’m not sure; could an expert please explain? Thank you
The compressor you are referring to is likely of the reciprocating type; to understand this issue, you just need to comprehend the principle of a check valve. Take the physical object in hand, place it flat with the side where the valve disc can be seen facing up, and then fill it with water. When that screwdriver is inserted to press down on the valve plate, water will flow out. This force is the force exerted by the compressor to discharge gas; it is the compression of the spring that opens the valve disc to allow gas to escape, while the intake valve on the other side is closed, in the opposite direction. When the piston moves to the other side, the intake valve opens and the exhaust valve closes. For reference.

The cylinder valve of a reciprocating compressor is a one-way valve; sealing is achieved as long as the valve disc makes contact with the sealing surface of the valve seat. That’s basically how it works. If you want to understand it in depth, I suggest disassembling the inlet and outlet cylinder valves once to see it for yourself
