The field conditions are as follows: inlet pressure of 0.012–0.042 MPa, outlet pressure of 0.1 MPa, and flow rate of 4166 Nm3/h. The gas being transported is raw coalbed methane. Based on calculations, the three-blade equipment has been selected for this purpose; however, according to the client’s requirements, a flame arrester needs to be added at the inlet. Rotary vane blowers are quite troublesome; both their strength and the particles they generate present challenges in handling. The scraper type is okay. Ask the manufacturer directly.
The motor must be explosion-proof, and the fan requires a mechanical seal to ensure no leaks. The material cannot be changed; rotary blowers are all made of cast iron, and this material does not meet the requirements for explosion protection. The explosion-proof units manufactured in Germany seem to have spark sensors, oxygen sensors, and some other components – I can’t remember exactly what they are. In China, the requirements are not so strict, so manufacturers don’t really understand these requirements
