Can the unloader be omitted? How does it work?
It is necessary to use it; it relies on the pressure of instrument air to act on the unloader via the air valve. In simple terms, it enables the intake valve to remain in an open state or to operate normally – the intake valve is in a unloaded state when it is open, while it is under load when it is operating normally. It’s impossible to adjust the load without a unloader. However, some smaller V-shaped and L-shaped ones do not come with this feature.
Oh oh! So is it controlled by the control room via instruments, just like a pneumatic control valve?
Ordinarily, it looks like a type of compression rod; currently, most of them are controlled on-site. I’m not sure if any of them are also connected to the control room. Some are equipped with stepless adjustment, which can be controlled from the control room.

The continuously adjustable version can be directly connected to the DCS in the control room, allowing it to be controlled from there. Our continuously adjustable system can also be installed on-site according to the customer’s requirements; either option is possible

The host is controlled by frequency conversion and may not have a unloader. Soft start or direct start is suitable for use.
