L-DAA is used in air compressors with light loads; L-DAB is used in air compressors with medium loads – either grade 150 or 100 will work. If you purchase grade 100 and find that the viscosity is not sufficient, you can lower the oil temperature to around 35 degrees. If you use grade 150 and find that the viscosity is too high, you can raise the oil temperature to around 45 degrees. Viscosity determines the formation of the oil film. You need to know the functions of lubricant: cooling, lubrication, and forming an oil film. Generally, the oil film is formed between 30 degrees and 70 degrees. It’s best to follow the manufacturer’s recommendations to avoid any liability issues in the future
