RT, I’m seeking advice from experts: to grind traditional Chinese medicine extracts that have been dried to a particle size of 80 mesh, what size filter screen should be used on the grinder?
I’m really seeking advice; I heard that a sieve with a 1mm aperture can achieve a particle size of 100 mesh, which is why I’d like to ask for some help
80 mesh means there are 80 holes per square centimeter.
The number of mesh openings per square inch (25.4mm×25.4mm) area is referred to as the mesh count.
You need a chart comparing mesh numbers to micrometers. 80 mesh = 0.177 mm; 1 mm can only achieve 16 mesh
