What issues need to be considered during the installation and commissioning of 212 machine seals and 204 machine seals? Is it necessary to run the machine for a while to allow the rotating and stationary rings to wear together properly, in order to meet the leakage limits? After our machine housings were assembled, we applied a static pressure of 2 kilograms, and most of them leaked. Is this because they weren’t “run-in” first? In the experiment, is it okay to add water inside the mechanical seal box? If leaks are detected, how should they be addressed? How can the water or oil inside the oil box be removed?
