Why is it required that the barring time for cold start-up be no less than 4 hours?
“Does cold-start operation require a turning time of no less than 4 hours? Is it continuous cranking for 4 hours? Centrifugal air compressors have a wide range of applications; it’s surprising that it takes such a long time to assemble them just to figure out what they look like. Is cold-state barring 4H a random requirement specified in the operation manual? The purpose of turning the compressor is to conduct a visual inspection to ensure that all gaps in the compressor are correct, and to check for any areas where there may be scratches, thereby preventing damage to the large-scale unit as soon as it starts operating. According to the experience of the turntable operators, 10 minutes is sufficient.
