Is the compressor oil level based on the condition during operation or when it is at rest? I checked, and some sources mention operation while others refer to rest – is there any standard?
It is generally based on the location at runtime, unless the manufacturer has specific requirements
This issue needs to be addressed rationally. Firstly, the fuel tank level at rest should reach the maximum level. When operating normally, the liquid level should be at the specified range of 2/3 to 1/2 of the capacity, with no additional oil added. The reason is that when you add lubricant according to the normal operating oil level, it is difficult to ensure that there will be no leakage of lubricant in the event of a power failure that causes the machine to shut down. The parameters provided by equipment manufacturers usually specify that the oil level during normal operation should not be below a certain value; this value represents both the normal oil level and the minimum allowable oil level when the equipment is operating properly. Therefore, when filling the lubricant, it is essential to take the highest oil level at rest as a reference.

During operation, the fuel level should decrease to varying degrees, with it sometimes dropping below the lower limit mark. In some devices, it’s not possible to add fuel while they are running!
