Centrifugal compressor with vertical split – can liquid be removed?

It is a single centrifugal compressor of the BCL type, with a vertical design. If the medium enters the compressor housing containing liquid, can this liquid be removed at the drainage point of the housing? I would appreciate the advice from the experts.
Most of the liquid in the dielectric strip can be drained out. However, it depends on the amount introduced, and the risk of fluid impact on the rapidly rotating rotor impeller also needs to be considered.
