The Roots blower has normal pressure when it first starts up, but the pressure drops once the temperature of the unit rises; the temperature can reach 117 degrees. Does it operate normally when the temperature is lower? Who has encountered such a situation? Is it a gap that hasn’t been adjusted properly, or is there some other issue?
With such a problem, the process issues should be checked first. Regarding the mechanical aspects, it is mainly necessary to check for any unusual noises or vibrations. If it is convenient to check the bearing clearance, then problems related to this clearance are quite common. For reference.
The inspection revealed a gap of 0.75 at the fixed end and 0.25 at the free end, with some friction spacers present at the free end.
