I would like to ask everyone for advice: One of the centrifugal compressors in our factory, manufactured by Shengli Oilfield Machinery, has two temperature measurement points for the radial bearings on the non-drive side. One of these points shows a temperature of 95 degrees, while the other is in the high 50s. The vibration and displacement levels are normal. What could be causing this high temperature? We have already adjusted the oil pressure to its maximum level, and the oil temperature is also normal; it’s just that the temperature at one of these points is too high
Poor oil film formation? The condition of the bearing shells should be checked.
First, it is necessary to determine the trend line of temperature changes; if there is an increase within a certain range, it indicates a bearing problem. If there is a sudden increase, the accuracy of the instrument needs to be taken into consideration. If the actual temperature rises, it should be considered to shut down the equipment early for maintenance. For reference.
