The KASHIYAMA vacuum pump SDE36M60 has oil leakage from its gear oil tank. Initially, it was suspected that the quality of the oil seal was problematic; after replacing it with an oil seal from another brand, the leakage continued. Later, it was found that the left-and-right oil seals were installed in the wrong orientation, and even after installing them correctly, the leakage persisted. The leakage always occurs from the gear oil tank area. I’m seeking advice from experts!
Check whether the spindle at the oil seal is worn and whether the positioning location is damaged. Also, check whether the fuel tank is clean; it would be best to send a photo of the equipment for easier discussion. It might be due to issues with maintenance or installation; for reference only.
