Dear experts: We currently need 2 piston compressors. Our manager would like to consider imported models, so I would like to ask which foreign brands offer better quality. Please advise! ! ! Thank you.
Bookhard, Haughton, New Bilron
Rich guy! Imported equipment is good in the initial stage, but becomes more difficult to handle later on; ultimately, localization is necessary!
Importing manufacturers include Anlair, COPPER, IMW, and Atlas. Imported reciprocating compressors: Advantages – long operating cycle, rational design, complete equipment, easy maintenance. Disadvantages – high cost of spare parts and long delivery times. Domestic reciprocating compressors: Disadvantages – short operating cycle, difficulty in ensuring the quality of equipment accessories, hard maintenance (due to issues such as the quality of spare parts and tolerances), and unstable prices for spare parts. Advantages – low price, short delivery time, and support for domestic industries.
The Yuanda compressors are quite good; I just returned from Yuanda’s factory last week. The company has indeed seen good development in recent years.
Dreyselan, Haughton. Thomason has used reciprocating pumps from these two brands, and they have had few problems. It’s just connected using flanges between the piston rod and the crosshead, which makes maintenance quite troublesome; it’s not as convenient as those from Shenmu Hydraulics
Hello, I heard that Shanghai Dongfang Compressors uses technology from American Drayson Lan. Do you have any information on this?
Well, I’ve also been in contact with Yuan Da
We use COPPER’s centrifugal air compressors here; I asked them, and they don’t manufacture reciprocating compressors. Atlas didn’t ask whether reciprocating compressors are available either
Yes, it’s the spare parts and after-sales service aspect that’s quite troublesome
