It is necessary to design a jacketed reactor capable of operating at -50 degrees. Due to the low temperature, the standard flange fittings and mounting lids currently in use are suitable for temperatures ranging from -20 degrees to 300 degrees. Can they be used at -50 degrees? Or does the use of stainless steel material mean that there is no need to consider temperatures within the -20 degrees to 300 degree range?
Select according to the applicable temperature range of the material
Using austenitic stainless steel will do!
