As the title suggests, under operating conditions of a flow rate of 2–8 cubic meters and a head of 530 meters, with hot water at 106 degrees at the inlet, will a high-speed pump work well? I’m also wondering, aside from this flow rate and head, are there any people who use high-speed pumps to circulate water in boilers?
We use a high-speed pump to circulate water in the boiler, and it works very well. It is not advisable to design low-flow pumps as multi-stage pumps, as this results in a large number of impeller stages and extensive maintenance requirements. High-speed pumps can use open impellers, which eliminate axial forces, ensure stable operation, have fewer flow-through components, and are easier to maintain. Additionally, a reciprocating pump could also be considered; it is much more energy-efficient than the previous two options, and its flow rate can be controlled via frequency conversion. I now regret not choosing a reciprocating pump back then. :lol
When buying a high-speed pump, choose carefully; in my opinion, multi-stage pumps are more reliable than high-speed pumps! The high-speed pump we used before wasn’t very good! High failure rate! Oil leaks, bearing problems, and more!
If the flow rate is low, go with a reciprocating pump! ! I’m using a 30-cubic one
