That separate fan is integrated with the motor, so there is no need for a separate grounding
This needs to be distinguished: if the fan’s casing is plastic, it does not need to be grounded separately; if it is metal, then grounding is not required
Check whether the fan’s casing is bolted to the motor body; if so, no additional grounding is required. However, we have also encountered some inspection experts who require a separate grounding wire to be installed.
