The pump used in the gas processing unit for transporting liquefied gas handles media such as tetrahydrocarbons and trihydrocarbons. The pump type is a centrifugal pump, and the sealing method employed is mechanical sealing, with an oil seal tank included. However, there is always leakage at the seal; the pressure in the oil seal tank becomes extremely high. Are there any other types of sealing methods available, or alternative pump designs?

If it is a new pump, it is supposed to last for a long time; if this phenomenon becomes normal only after maintenance, then it is likely a problem related to the maintenance. Once this substance leaks, it mainly causes wear on the spindle; since the damaged surface does not meet the installation requirements, its service life becomes very short. Another factor is the need to ensure that the impurity content in the materials meets requirements; this is for reference only.
