Maintenance of the overrunning clutch in polypropylene granulators

During the startup of the granulator, the clutch slipped and it was not possible to start the machine. The overrunning clutch was disassembled, and severe wear was found; a new set of clutches was installed.

May I ask how long it usually takes for the problem to occur with an old overdrive clutch?
