As the largest-capacity expansion engine of its kind for ORC use in China, this project represents a new achievement by SHENGU Group in terms of scientific research and innovation as well as the application of such innovations in energy-saving applications. It once again highlights SHENGU’s outstanding achievements and significant contributions in the machinery industry. According to the project leader, this unit features a motor-direct-drive axial flow design, an advanced two-stage cantilever structure, a fully machined rotor, an axially symmetric volute, and a modular mechanical seal. In 2024, SHENGU Group continued to focus on the market for comprehensive utilization of low-energy resources, achieving a series of important results. Successively provided a natural gas pressure difference power generation device capable of converting pressure energy into mechanical energy for a state-owned enterprise customer ; In the field of urban gate stations, a combined unit for electromagnetic bearing-based natural gas pressure difference expansion power generation is developed in collaboration with Suzhou Ganghua Gas Co., Ltd., to improve the efficiency of using pressure difference energy ; In the field of large-scale centrifugal heat pumps, methanol direct heat pump systems with a heating capacity of 22 MW have been successively supplied to an olefin production plant using methanol as a feedstock in Guangxi ; A low-temperature condensate-to-steam indirect heat pump system with a heating capacity of 33 MW and using R245FA as the circulating medium was provided for a customer in Inner Mongolia, marking a breakthrough for SHENGU GROUP’s heat pump technologies in a completely new field.
