This compressor will be used in the world’s largest single-unit salt production project – the comprehensive utilization project for salt production from brine at the Suyan Jing Shen gas reservoir. As the core \"heart\" of the MVR evaporation process system, the development of this project was designated as a \"group-level key project\" by Shenyang Steam Turbine Group, and it yielded fruitful results. It represented another significant advancement in advanced domestic equipment manufacturing technology, enabling major breakthroughs in the overall progress of users’ projects and providing solid support for the development of the salt + energy storage sector. It is reported that this steam compressor plays a key role in MVR evaporation systems by pressurizing and reusing all secondary steam to achieve an energy closed-loop system. Faced with extreme technical challenges such as high flow rates, high stability, and low noise, it features a large shaft load and a heavy cantilevered impeller; therefore, advanced design concepts, high-precision manufacturing equipment, and a reliable quality control system are necessary to ensure the efficient operation of the unit. The world’s first single-stage, high-pressure ratio, high-flow rate centrifugal steam compressor successfully developed by SHENGU Group boasts excellent energy efficiency, requires less space, and helps users save on investment and operating costs. Moreover, in addition to its wide application in the salt production industry, this product can also be used in various fields such as alkali production, pharmaceuticals, textiles, printing and dyeing, and environmental protection.
