Light hydrocarbon pumps generally use dry gas seals or springs; why not bellows?
It can be used, but generally speaking, the price order is dry gas >> bellows >> spring； As for performance, it depends on the operating conditions. In any case, dry gas systems clearly outperform those using bellows or springs. As for springs, as long as the sealing O-rings inside can handle the conditions, they seem to be superior to bellows; however, the temperature range in which they can operate is better for bellows
