Does anyone know the alignment standards for motor and pump couplings (specific values)? The alignment requirements are determined based on the speed and the type of connection used (rigid, flexible, or toothed coupling).
Rigid couplings have high requirements for alignment; since they offer no compensation, they are not recommended. For flexible and toothed couplings, the greater the degree of concentricity, the better, as this leads to a longer lifespan; generally, the alignment error should be within 0.1 mm.
