As the title suggests, is it feasible to use the high-pressure saturated steam generated as a by-product of the unit to feed the boiler superheater? Boiler superheating and the advantages and disadvantages of installing a gas superheater?
It’s not entirely clear whether there are any technical challenges, but steam superheaters are commonly used in large boilers, typically those with a steam production capacity of over 400 t/h. As for gas superheaters, the one in our company operates quite stably; its advantage is that it can handle a certain amount of process off-gases, thereby helping to save energy and reduce consumption.
Superheaters can be installed in boilers of several dozen tons
This is called a steam superheater; the technology is already quite mature
Are you referring to gas superheating or the superheating in the superheater section of the boiler?
