I worked in architectural design using CAD for a few years; now I have switched to working on pressure vessels. I seem to be able to understand the drawings at first glance, but upon closer inspection I notice issues. I would like to know what drawing standards are required for creating drawings of pressure vessels Does pressure vessel technology fall under the mechanical engineering field or the chemical engineering field?
Pressure vessels are primarily related to the chemical engineering field, though there isn’t much difference from mechanical engineering
The range is really wide – yesterday we worked on buildings and today on pressure vessels. But I think there is more future in architecture
Sigh. . Talking too much only brings tears; who would want to change careers unless it’s absolutely necessary?

I feel that pressure vessel drawing itself is relatively simple. For example, things like marking tolerances and geometric tolerances are much less troublesome compared to pure mechanical processes.

Cartography standards can be found online. When I was in school, I studied chemical engineering machinery, and my main specialized courses were related to pressure vessels. It belongs to the Department of Chemical Engineering.
The field that is closest to pressure vessels, in my opinion, is current process control and equipment engineering, as it enables the design and manufacturing of pressure vessels. Of course, pressure vessels are inseparable from the chemical industry, as the basic requirements for their design are provided by chemical process engineers
