I am conducting a numerical simulation of the heating process using coiled tubes in a storage tank, and I would like to ask: for a 100,000-cubic-meter crude oil storage tank that is heated with serpentine steam coiled tubes, what is the typical range of diameters for such coiled tubes? It would be great if you could provide the maximum and minimum values as well. Thank you
DN25, DN50 – that’s usually sufficient; there’s no need for it to be too large or too small.
Generally, DN50 pipes are chosen; if the size is too small, the service life will be shorter.
