That is, if manholes are to be made of pipes nowadays, should the negative deviation in the thickness of the steel used for these manholes be determined based on verification calculations or design calculations? How is the effective thickness of the manhole ring determined? Is it the calculated value that is subtracted, or the verified one?
These days, one first designs and calculates, then checks the calculations, and finally takes the larger value. Seamless pipes with a minimum diameter of 20 mm are not necessary, right? (If they are, then a negative deviation value should be applied according to the requirements for pipe materials.)
Whether for design calculations or verification calculations, the thickness value must meet the strength requirements; it is necessary to determine whether reinforcement is needed for each individual hole, and reinforced structures are generally used. Calculated according to GB16507.
