Can the unit responsible for the annual inspection of pressure vessels carry out the inspection on its own? Is an annual inspection report required? It still has to be done by a third-party professional agency. Is this easy to do? Are professional equipment or personnel with relevant qualifications required?
It must be carried out by a unit with the appropriate testing qualifications, and an annual inspection report is required. This testing involves processing the equipment through specific procedures, and the necessary conditions must be met in order to conduct the tests; it can be said to be a rather complicated process
For routine inspections, they are carried out by the unit using the equipment itself, including monthly and annual inspections. After a pressure vessel is registered, its first regular inspection is generally carried out within 3 years. The safety status level of the pressure vessel is determined based on the inspection results, in order to establish the schedule for the next regular inspection. Periodic inspections should be carried out by special equipment inspection agencies.

Pressure vessels can be divided into those that require inspection and those that require testing. The focus of these two processes is different, as are the qualification requirements. Inspection can be carried out by the entity that uses the vessel, whereas testing must be done by a qualified organization that is also responsible for assessing the safety condition of the pressure vessel.
The annual inspection can be organized by the unit that uses the pressure vessel, but the condition is that the persons conducting the inspection must hold a pressure vessel management certificate issued by the Municipal Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau; of course, it is also possible to hire a qualified inspection agency if one has the funds to do so.
